The rooftop at the Perch in dtla is nice. No pool but it has nice views. You can eat via their outside section, if you you choose to. Great food on the menu.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Per la while I was in town for Pokémon GO Tour at the Rose Bowl. Even though Pasadena isn’t exactly around the corner, I actually chose to stay here on purpose. I didn’t want to be locked into just one area the whole trip, I wanted a spot that gave me the flexibility to explore different neighborhoods and get a fuller experience of LA. Hotel Per la ended up being the perfect home base for that. It gave me easy access to bounce around the city, while still being a place I could come back to, reset, and recharge. Between Pokémon GO sessions, it was ideal for getting work done, editing content, and just relaxing for a bit before heading back out.
