6 months agoSo what if you’re SVP making $250,000 but then you get to be CEO and you think you deserve 80,000,000
6 months agoI had transferable skill set so when I changed industries I literally jumped from $60k to $120k and both roles were “entry level” and not school specific. Maybe if you stay in the same industry and want to get a promotion then yes but even then I’d think the industry you’re in dictates the range.
7 months agoLmao yall are crazy wrong, numbers should always be in percentages, im getting an average of a 5% raise a year where I am, therefor to jump to something uncertain I need a 20% raise.
7 months agoIn non managerial roles: 0-5 yrs =$5-10 5-10=$10-15 10-20=$15-20 20+=$17-30 (must net minimum $10k more)
7 months agoI’m pretty open that if someone offers me 20% increase and I’ve been in my current role for at least 2.5 years then I’ll leave. There is a noticeable life change at 20% increase.
7 months agoA realistic jump? Nah. You pay market value and if that value is 100k it’s none of your business what they made before
