VESTIBULE (1/3)

After a week of basking in immense gratitude and joy, I just want to thank everyone who came, collaborated, and supported me throughout the process of creating and producing VESTIBULE. It has been a dream come true, years in the making, and I know this is just the beginning of a career of making evening length work.

I am in awe of the response from the work and hope people continue to share what the piece unlocked in them. I just want to take the time and space to thank everyone who helped me achieve this huge dream.

Thank you to my cast @sakuraamano @erin.s.co @mikayla_knestrick @ellingtonpersley my muses, the greatest artists for your curiosity and strength. All of the versions were worth it and I miss our rehearsals already

Thank you to my love @timmy_hr for not only the gorgeous paintings, but the inspiration and emotional support throughout the process.

Thank you to @alina._.michiko for the costumes of my dreams. Also the greatest dress EVER! You are a star!

Thank you to my incredible committee. I will cherish the mentorship and conversations forever. I finally understand what choreography is/can do, which I guess is the point of this MFA… yay @aboylikethat @willjrawls @victoriaellenmarks and Susan Foster

Lastly, thank you to my students for investigating ROOTING, FLOWING, and BEAMING with me. It is thanks to your willingness in class that I was able to solidify this pedagogy.

Stay radiant everyone🌞 onto the next chapter, but ROOTING, FLOWING, and BEAMING are forever.
