When you enter flow, your brain actually shuts part of itself down.

Neuroscientists call this transient hypofrontality.

For a short period, the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for self-criticism, doubt, and overthinking, goes quiet.

The voice in your head (inner critic) fades.

Your sense of time starts to dissolve.

Past failures and future anxieties lose their grip.

And attention collapses fully into the present moment.

This is why flow feels so good.

When those timelines disappear, the nervous system relaxes.

Stress drops. Focus sharpens.

And performance rises dramatically.

Flow clears the mental noise that keeps us from doing our best work.

Can literally slow time and my breath and heart beat and when I squat it’s incredible how your energy output is more and your respiratory is boosted But ,when squatting normal not in flow I have a pounding heart respiratory overload puffed out it’s crazy how much of a difference it makes Olympic lifting and getting into flow is better then sex It’s like every motion is in sync your technique is 10/10 and it just happens you don’t have to think about anything just execute sometimes if be in the gym for hours yes hours and then cam to notice I was getting stuck and addicted to being in flow before lifting I started doing this gesture in sync with my hands thinking it’s cool to do to help lock and looked cool THEN coming to realise that it was in fact a trigger and when I did it it’s like my outer world was gone and it was just me and the weight I had to throw over my head and no fear at all just pure concentration amd execute and technique is always 10/10 it like I can see myself in the experience and looking from a distance or in 3rd person lense everything in perfect sync even before the lift I get the feeling of it already being accomplished and I just have to witness the experience again and everything is already to go don’t have to worry about ques or posture or technique it just happens perfectly and can execute A perfect lift 99.9% of the time some people can get into flow with out even knowing so instead of actively learning to get in some people can acces it but syncing a movement gesture or even thought in rhythm that creates that flow state basically your movement breath and brain and nervous system get into the same flowy rhythm can get to a point when your trigger can just be a thought or command or even just tapping your fingers or blinking but it’s all about becoming aware and in tune with that synchronised rhythm
