If you need a soundtrack that captures the quiet hum of electricity in a room, then Death Cab for Cutie’s (@deathcabforcutie) newly announced album, I Built You A Tower, is the record you need to be stoked about. I had the privilege of engineering on the track “Trap Door” during their session at Studio Litho. Having previously worked on their 2022 album Asphalt Meadows, getting back behind the glass with them was an incredible experience-there’s a specific energy this band brings to a room that is absolute joy to record! Keep an eye out for the release June 5 on ANTI- (@antirecords) and catch the full tour dates at: www.deathcabforcutie.com #deathcabforcutie #ibuiltyouatower #studiolitho #seattlemusic #audioengineer
