I’ve said before that I learn so much from you, Dia, but primarily, I learn that to stand your ground and believe in something greater than yourself will not always be welcome. Sometimes, the petty-minded, the bigoted will indeed come for you. Often repeatedly. And yet, one must still speak their truth for the greater good, for the country we call home, for the country that belongs to us all - and if one can do it with a little elegance, why not? 😜♥️ At a time when the city’s lungs choke, to care for public health, for children and the elderly, for the environment - is simply common sense. It isn’t religious, it isn’t partisan, it isn’t agenda. This Diwali, may common sense, science, love, and light prevail.
