I had a solo evening in the amazing City of Joy - Kolkata - last night and as per my usual, I decided to explore the city by night. I went out hoping to find a gem and ended up finding two!

1. In an unassuming corner, inside an unassuming building, five floors up a somewhat rickety lift, lies an oasis of fantastic cocktails, world class mixologists, and welcoming wait staff - @ampm.kolkata is a must visit spot if you are interested in some seriously top notch cocktails and great music. The riffs on old fashioned and penicillin that Aditya (mixologist) made for me were out of the world!

2. Inside this oasis, I witnessed a band that stole my heart with their impeccable ensemble and mind blowing skills. Every song, every note, every drumbeat was pure perfection. If you haven’t encountered @throwback.kolkata yet, you’re missing out! Huge shout out to this band for making my evening in Calcutta so memorable. They even posed with my gift for them :)
