Step into Fahrenheit 451 reimagined: an interactive exhibition where you’re not just watching—you're part of the story.
Our students from UE Art & Design Hamburg translate Montag’s awakening into seven immersive scenes: a media‑dominated living room, Clarisse’s questioning voice, a firemen’s classroom of rituals, the woman who chooses to burn with her books, Montag’s own house aflame, his hunted escape, and finally the quiet community of the Book People.
The works combine interactive tactility (hidden books, toaster‑and‑microwave hiding spots, bend sensors) with atmospheric sound and light design so visitors become actors: opening panels, triggering sounds, stepping into silhouettes, and feeling the tension of a city searching for one man. Physical storytelling here shows why designing environments matters as much as designing screens.
