As Rivals returns next week, Bella Maclean is back as Taggie O’Hara, the character audiences have watched come into her own. This season’s drama reaches its climax at the Hampshire Hunt Ball, where O'Hara swaps her familiar waistcoats and cowboy boots for a red, spaghetti-strap dress and, tired of waiting for Rupert Campbell-Black to decide what he wants, turns her attention to someone closer to her age. "I remember walking through the doors and my heart going 'bang, bang, bang'," she says. "None of my mates had ever seen that part of Taggie, and they hadn’t seen me like that before either. It was exciting. At work, I’m normally in a tracksuit." A luminous turn in #Rivals confirmed #BellaMaclean as one of television’s most captivating new talents. Now, with three films on the horizon, Nicola Fahey meets a rising star stepping into her power. The December/January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, featuring our 2026 Women of the Year, is on newsstands from 6 November. #2 is the one most men aren’t ready for. 👀 1️⃣ You’re getting exactly the woman you met. No padding. No pretending. No trying to look like someone else because Instagram said so. If you marry me, that’s the version that stays. 2️⃣ I would never get implants just because a man wanted me to. Not even if he paid. If bigger boobs matter that much to him… he can get them himself. There. I said it. 3️⃣ I can wear your shirt, a fitted dress, or almost nothing underneath and still feel good in it. The men who swear they only like “big” still notice. Maybe a woman who actually likes her own body is harder to forget. 4️⃣ Steak is medium rare. Anything else is wrong. And I’m drinking whiskey, not some espresso martini bullshit. 5️⃣ I will not get in a Tesla or any other electric toy. If it’s not a V8, I’m not interested. 6️⃣ I cook. I clean. I raise the kids. But I’m not sitting at home getting bigger while you work. You come home to a woman who still looks like the one you married. So… natural and traditional, or already too much? 👀👇 The ones who aren’t running after #2 or the Tesla usually check the highlights. Most men stop here.
