A drawstring bag made with vintage kimono scraps that have been cut into squares, sewn together into a rectangle, backed with coordinating calico from my stash (with batting in between) and machine quilted before being folded in half and sewn at the sides. I added the coordinating piece of red calico fabric to the top and bottom of the rectangle before sewing the sides. To complete this bag I created boxed corners for the bottom so the bag sits flat and inserted the drawstrings into the top pocket.
