Ontario has issued a new round of invitations under the OINP. On March 18, 2026, the province issued 39 invitations to apply to candidates who may qualify under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream through the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot. The draw targeted candidates with an EOI score of 47 and above. 

This is another reminder that OINP draws are not always broad draws. Ontario continues to run targeted rounds based on program priorities, regional needs, and labour market demand. If you have a valid Ontario job offer and are considering an OINP pathway, your profile should be reviewed carefully to see whether you fit the right stream and whether your EOI is positioned competitively. 

If you are waiting in the pool, this is the time to focus on strategy, profile accuracy, and stream selection rather than assumptions. A targeted draw can open opportunities for the right candidate, but only if the profile is built properly.
