I’ll never forget when I first moved to NC and this woman said to me what are you gonna do when you’re too old to Model? That was about 13 years ago. I just looked at her and said I don’t know I’ll let you know when I’m too old. When I was in Fl maybe 20 years ago there was a woman who said the same thing and that I couldn’t model forever and then I should look for other work. Of course there were other people close to me that said I should quit and get a real job and quit wasting my time. But what’s interesting is none of those people are paying my bills or actually check in on me to see how I’m doing lol. Well I’m here to tell you I’ll be 50 in February. I’m still doing this “modeling thing”. I’m in the process of still redoing my house right now that I bought from doing this modeling and acting thing. I’m going over to my daughter‘s house later who I raised by myself (to see her and my sweet grandson) doing this modeling and acting thing. And I’m flying to Florida in two weeks to be the face of a new campaign that will be coming out about menopause. I didn’t know these things were going to happen in my life. I simply stepped out in faith I had a dream of being a model when I was a kid. I did not know all the doors that would open. You cannot listen to (shitty) people and no it is not going to be easy. Nobody sees the behind-the-scenes stuff. Nobody sees the hours of auditioning and the money you spend on Website, photos, reels and traveling to and from jobs and how long it takes just to tape one audition. Nobody sees all that stuff. They only see the end product. And that’s OK. 🥰 Because I love what I do I can’t believe I still get to do this. Hey! I’m just as shocked as anyone when I booked some of these jobs. I get blown away and I never take any of it for granted I’m always very thankful for each opportunity 💖And I hope that I inspire other girls but especially women my age. You can change your body. You can change how you look. You can change how you feel about yourself. And you can do hard things. What you want is on the other side of fear. Let’s go ! 😜💖🥰🫵🏻⭐️
