Today, already the 24th in New Zealand, I turn 27. In spite of the hardships of the past year—most recently a broken hand (pictured)—the best constant remains the care demonstrated by those around me no matter how short or long a time I’ve known them. I’m blown away by the people and landscapes placed in my path. I hope I feel this way every March 24th. ✌️
