Most photographers don’t realize this… but if you’re shooting Canon, you’ve got access to one of the most underrated perks in the game.

I’m talking about Canon Professional Services (CPS) and it’s not just for repairs and support. It’s actually a gateway to testing high-end gear before you drop thousands on it.

If you’ve ever been stuck wondering “is this lens actually worth it?”… this is your answer.

What CPS can do for you:
• Borrow Canon lenses and bodies before buying
• Test gear on real shoots (not just in a store for 5 minutes)
• Get priority repairs + faster turnaround times
• Access exclusive support during major events

That “try before you buy” alone? Game changer.
You get to actually see how gear performs in your workflow, your lighting, your clients, your style, not someone else’s YouTube review.

If you’re already invested in Canon, there’s really no excuse not to be taking advantage of this.

And no… this isn’t sponsored by Canon (yet 😅) but if someone over there sees this, let’s talk.

In the meantime, tag @canonusa so they can see this 👀

So I could loan a Canon RF 200-800mm for airshows?

But it’s not as easy as just joining is it! It’s an odd system that many pros are not able to join

He doesn’t tell you that you need to own 3k+ in equipment already to be even eligible for the lowest tier of the program that can grant you the camera for a week. If you are a student it has decent benefits for free but you can not try a camera.

Yeah but to qualify you need to be registered as a professional — meaning having a good amount of Canon gear, as well as paying a fee.
