𝐑𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢 is a dancer and choreographer whose work is grounded in improvisation and collaborative practice. Holding an MA from the University of Limerick and Berlin Dance Institute, she creates process-led work that explores presence, transformation, and the dynamics of interaction. Her approach prioritises clarity of action and responsiveness, allowing movement to emerge through real-time decision-making. She works across performance and research contexts, contributing to a range of collaborative projects while continuing to develop her own choreographic voice.

For her residency at workspacebrussels she will work together with 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐚 on 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬  من جسدي، يبقى, a practice-based research exploring the physical impact of language on the body. Through live dialogue, speech is fragmented, repeated, and transformed into movement. The work investigates how migration and multilingual experience influence rhythm, breath, posture, and timing. It asks how meaning is carried, negotiated, and perceived when spoken language becomes insufficient.
