Well… that’s a wrap for ADL Fringe 2026! 🥳
What a wild ride it’s been to debut Twenty Sixteen this Fringe.
This show started the way most things at
@amplified_house do…
In our kitchen, with robust conversations, ideas scribbled in a notes app, and a slightly unhinged belief that we could pull it off 🤪
A show about 2016 seemed a little ambitious - a year of loss, change, and loads of icons leaving us… but with music that refused to. And that’s really what this show was about for us.
It was such a privilege to share this story and these songs with you. Hearing our artists recreate the hits of Bowie, Prince, George Michael, Cohen, Sharon Jones, Rick Parfitt and more was a thrill - and the audience (and critical!) response absolutely blew us away 🥹
To our cast: Dusty, Jaron, Kylie, Nic, Ben, Jack, Harrison, Flik -
your talent, heart, and insane artistry carried this show every single night. Absolute powerhouses, the lot of you!
To our creative team and crew: Ben (MD), Dusty (music supervisor),
@brian.does.sound (sound), Dan and El (@gluttony_fringe ),
@stevenmayproductions (LX design)
- you’re the quiet achievers, the problem solvers, the detail magicians - thank you for building this with us from the ground up.
To our PR & Marketing support - Sarah & The Team
@sassafraspr sassafraspr and Stewart
@standingbysocialmedia - thank you for working so hard to ensure the Fantail was filled!
And to every single person who bought a ticket, shared a post, told a friend, or came along for the ride (and the dancing!) -
🙏 thank you. Truly.
Because while the creative highs are real…
so is the reality of making independent work at this scale.
So if you came, supported, shouted about the show - please know it genuinely matters. It keeps this work alive.
We’re incredibly proud of what Twenty Sixteen became - and this is just the beginning 🥳
See you next year! 🤩
