Your Lie in April (2014) Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is an emotional music anime that blends romance, tragedy, and personal growth.
It follows Kousei Arima, a piano prodigy who loses his ability to hear the sound of his own playing after his mother’s death. Because of that trauma, he gives up music and lives a dull, colorless life.
Everything changes when he meets Kaori Miyazono, a free-spirited violinist. She plays music in her own wild, emotional way—completely opposite to Kousei’s strict, perfect style. Kaori pushes him back into music and slowly helps him face his past.
