If I only had ONE hour a week to focus on marketing, this is how I would spend it. This is very similar to what I did when I was building my caseload.

Most therapists don’t need more strategies. They need to spend their time on the few things that actually lead to clients.

5 min: Get focused
Look at your last 3–5 inquiries. Where did they come from?
That tells you what’s already working. Pick one area to double down on this week instead of trying to be everywhere.

15 min: Nurture referral relationships
This is still one of the most reliable ways to build a caseload.
Send a quick thank you to someone who referred to you.
Reach out to a provider you want to stay connected with.
Ask what kinds of clients they’re looking for right now.
If you’re able to, use your full hour to meet someone for coffee. If you have more time, this is where I would spend it first.

20 min: Share your voice in a simple way
You don’t need to create perfect content.
Answer a real question your client is already asking.
Something you explained in session this week is usually a good place to start.
The goal is clarity and connection, not trying to sound impressive.

15 min: Improve what people see before they book
Take a few minutes to look at your Psychology Today profile or your website.
Is it clear who you help?
Does it sound like how you actually talk?
Make one small improvement each week. This builds over time.

5 min: Reflect
What actually led to connection this week?
Where are you putting time that isn’t leading anywhere?
Do you need to adjust your messaging or who you’re trying to reach?

This is not about doing everything. It’s about consistently doing the things that actually work.

Comment GROW and and I’ll send you the link to my marketing for therapist course where I breakdown exactly how to fill your caseload ❤️
