“Palms”
Acrylic on Canvas, 2026
60”x36”
Detail and progress photos/videos
This painting went through many stages, many ideas of what it was going to be, but it was the pressure to get it done that forced it into what it needed to be.
I started this painting way right after I finished “No Calls Backs” which was the first one I finished in the series. A few years ago I made an animation of me painting a neon green and black palm tree and I always knew I was going to have to make that a reality for me. This piece is that reality.
On a personal note, almost all my canvases are recycled giving old wall art a second chance at life.
