Great post! The Mediterranean truly is the crossroads of the ancient and modern world. And for the bonus: the Caspian Sea is bordered by Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, and Azerbaijan. It's the largest inland body of water on Earth—technically a lake, but often called a sea for its size. Fun fact: it's the only place where you can see a 'sea' that's actually a lake!
