Trembath & Taylor

I love this city. Having seen the main tourist sites before, this visit was for exploring more of the city and lagoon by foot and ferry.

Away from crowded Rialto and San Marco there’s so much to discover. Veno Vero, Al Squero and Gia Schiavi are great stops for a drink and cichetti. At 3.50 you almost save money drinking spritz - Select not Aperol per favore!

And two of my favourite restaurants in Italy are still great more than 20 years since we first ate there: Al Gatto Nero on Burano and Vini da Gigio.
