CTC Crowned Champions – B.K. Mohite Memorial Hockey Tournament, Mumbai
With an impressive 134 matches played and participation from over 234 players, the tournament stood as a remarkable celebration of grassroots hockey and club culture in the city.
This outstanding initiative by Republican Sports Club deserves immense appreciation. A special mention to Dronacharya Awardee Mr. Merzban Patel (Bawa), the visionary behind this concept, for his relentless efforts in promoting and strengthening club hockey in Mumbai.
This is just the beginning of a larger journey — one that aims to nurture and produce many more champion players from Mumbai.
A special appreciation to Coach Siddharth Pandey for his countless sleepless nights and unwavering dedication in guiding and supporting our CTC boys.
The presence of Chief Guest Dr. Dhanraj Pillay (Padma Shri) added immense prestige and made the occasion truly memorable.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Mumbai hockey fraternity for coming together and supporting Bawa Sir in making this tournament a grand success.
Special gratitude to The Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd. for providing the ground — without their invaluable support, this event would not have been possible. @sportifiedsid @yuvrajhockey_9 @bombay_muthanna @devindar @pillaydhanraj
