Amy Senn

I’m reminiscing about this body of work. From 2017-2024 I created goddesses made from natural materials (mostly sticks) I harvested from the forests of NC, NY, TN, GA, TX, and SC.

During this deeply spiritual journey in art and nature, I remembered who I was. I left one part of my life and discovered a completely new one. I survived my dark night of the soul. I healed a broken heart. I cried. I laughed. I rejoiced.

I made friends.

I fell in love. Every day.

And though I haven’t built a sculpture in a while, I’m not quite done yet.

I’m creating in new ways, inside a new life which I love and adore. I am grateful beyond measure for where I’ve been, where I am and where I am going.
