I was talking about this episode with our producer 20-minutes before I sat down to write this, and he said, “This is the episode where your on-camera presence is closest to your real-life presence. I think you’re better at dark stuff.”

That made me laugh, because this whole project, on a personal level, has been an attempt to lay down my armor.

I make Mood Bored because I genuinely enjoy a lot of things. But the personal stories are there because I got tired. Tired of holding things. Tired of knowing things about myself and choosing not to say them. Tired of hiding myself because I didn’t trust what would happen if people saw the full picture.
