From the moment I landed on African soil, I felt something deeper than “a trip.” I felt a real sense of connection…
Recently had the honor of representing my company on a mission trip to Ghana that changed me forever. I had the privilege of serving as best man in a local wedding, where I was also given my Ghanaian name. Later, I traveled along the historic Gold Coast, visiting Elmina and Cape Coast Castles, where the weight of the past still speaks (if you don’t know, look it up)⛓️⛓️💥
Shared a light sparring session in Jamestown, but more importantly, worked alongside the incredible head of Vickmens Montessori School in Accra, helping bring running water, fresh paint, educational resources, and ongoing teacher support.
A powerful reminder of where I come from, the bonds we can build, and the GLOBAL impact we can make through Achievement.
Grateful, humbled, and forever changed 🙏🏾🇬🇭
