We drive life-changing research for the health and wealth of our society.
Funded by @dhscgovuk, we work with people and communities, universities and the NHS to understand our most urgent health and care challenges.
We then target our research where it’s needed most. Where it will make the biggest difference to people’s health and happiness.
On any day, our research could discover a new vaccine that saves thousands of lives. It could make a revolutionary new treatment available and affordable for everyone. Or help someone get their independence back.
From new medicines, to better treatments and services, it starts with our research.

Please could you take a serious look at proper funding for research into ME/CFS and long covid? Really tired of people classing us as malingers while the government spends approx 0p on research into causes/treatments 🙏
