People whisper, “My Lord, why a subscription?”

It’s simple.

I want you to open your delivery, examine the book, remember what you paid for it, and wonder how on earth we managed it.

Here is how it works. Planning our print runs around our subscriber numbers gives us the certainty to invest in each edition while keeping costs under control.

We’re choosing to keep our margins modest, too.

That means we can put more into the books while keeping the price low.

And I have quite specific ideas about what belongs in those books.

Extraordinary artwork. Beautiful printing on carefully chosen paper. Smyth-sewn bindings made to endure. Thoughtful design that makes every page a pleasure to read.

The effort goes into the book itself--no . . . gimmicks. Something to collect, certainly. But also to open, enjoy and return to for years.

The editions we’re preparing, at the prices we’ll be offering, are only possible because of the subscription.

Special-edition horror and dark fiction, delivered every two months.

Subscriptions open Tuesday 10.

Join My newsletter at Eldritchking.com to find out exactly when.

I look forward to showing you just how much is possible.

Art in first slide by @wergeland.art

Haley Stevens stood up against antisemitism, and now the Democrat Party is turning on her, just as they have turned their backs on so many of you.

It’s time we do things differently. It’s time to put country over party.

this stupid fart has sent me into a broader theory about long-term relationships

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 10 months and, until last week, we have somehow maintained a mutual agreement of zero flatulence.

Accidents happen. I have apparently farted in my sleep. I dispute the evidence.

Then last week we were on the sofa watching Batman and this man just loudly lets one rip under the blanket, looks me dead in the eye and says:
“We’re at that stage now.”

Motion denied.

And yes, I know farting is normal and loads of couples don’t care. But I reject the idea that relationships naturally have to progress into lower standards of decorum just because you get comfortable.

People talk about “the honeymoon phase ending” like it’s weather.

Like one day it simply passes through and suddenly no one dresses up anymore, date nights disappear and you’re committing biological warfare under a shared blanket.

Nope.

We went for dinner the other night and I wore a dress and heels and he said “oh, you’ve dressed up.”

And I thought… have I? Damn.

Because this is exactly what I would’ve worn when we first started dating.

I think sometimes we stop doing things because we’ve decided we’re “past that stage”, when actually there is no governing body forcing the decline of romance.

Obviously getting comfortable is also lovely.
You get properly known.
Unfortunately being properly known also means the erosion of the version of yourself you advertised at the beginning.

(perhaps I’m not as easy-going as previously advertised??🧐)
Very developmental.

Anyway: is purposely farting beside your partner normal?

Or have we simply abandoned civilisation????

I know where I stand.

Dream steering wheel 😍 (See below 👇)

I've had over 10 wheels trimmed by Jack at @royalsteeringwheels since 2016, all unique and all beautifully finished in my personal style.

When I purchased my 2.5 year old/16k miles Carrera T, the optional Race Tex steering wheel was bald and had lost its colouring, the OEM stitching was dark and didn't match the rest of the cabin stitch.

It is now covered in fresh Alcantara with crayon stitching and a GT silver strip at 12 o'clock (as requested). The whole cabin feels factory fresh and better than ever 🙏

Thank you Jack ❤️
