Toronto is a wrestling town. From the 1930s until the 1980s, Maple Leafs Garden was the Mecca of Canadian Wrestling. However just as the territory days have come and went so has the hold the Garden had on professional wrestling in Canada.
Toronto’s SkyDome has since taken the reigns as the premier destination for wrestling in this country hosting countless events including Wrestlemania 6 (Face vs Face) and Wrestlemania X8 (Icon vs Icon)
I was in the building for Icon vs Icon when the crowd flipped the script between Hollywood Hulk Hogan and @therock at 18 and I returned to the same building on the night that @johncena finally went heel (verdict still out on the booking)
