Life update! Moving and shaking! Super stoked to be joining the sales team at @99printshop ! Hit my line if you need merch! And if you have ideas that may require specialty screen printing outside of apparel production don’t be a stranger, we can see what’s doable and make something happen!

Over the years I have been so thankful to have professionally worked with, support as a friend, and watch @n0timet0wait grow as a business owner. Knowing your journey from 16 years old teaching yourself how to screen print in your childhood bedroom, to working at professional print shops in FL, then into adulthood making the move to NYC where our paths thankfully crossed in the NYC print world~ I’ve seen first hand you truly are the real deal and cut from a different kind of cloth.

From my own experiences navigating life as an artist and more specifically as a printmaker, more often than not I have seen screen printing be looked down upon as “craft” or in our case minimized to “just a tshirt” or seen as an art process that “anyone can do”. And while to some extent I agree with and fully embrace those viewpoints, I also have close to 15 years of experience navigating this type of art making through a range of lenses. Whether that be through years of schooling and technical critique, individually in my own fine art practice, or professionally in high volume print shops~ there’s one thing I’ve learned for absolute certain, yes technically anyone can print, but it takes a special kind of person to do it right and to do it well. And it takes an even more rare breed of printmaker to take the risk and open their own shop to help others physically realize their own creative work through print. David is one of those rare print people! Seeing the community he’s fostered around 99 has been an added treat to witness. It’s not just a brand or an impersonal printing service. Working with David is an exercise in physical collaboration that leads to community building outside of the prints that are made.

I am stoked to be on his team. Onwards and upwards, friends support friends, it’s cool to care, long live 99 print, hit my line for quotes and let’s get inky!
