As the curtain closes on one of the greatest chapters of my life, I can say with my whole heart that I gave this everything I had. Dance has been my safe space since I was three years old, it’s all I’ve ever known. Being a Black Fox meant I never had to let that go, and for that I am forever grateful. This journey was not easy AT ALL — long nights, early mornings, sacrifice on top of sacrifice. But every single bit of it was worth it. This team didn’t just make me a better dancer. It made me a better woman.
To my crab sisters: I don’t even know where to start. Y’all are truly my sisters. We’ve been through things I never thought I’d go through, and through every up and down I knew I could always count on each of you. I hope you remember every car ride to practice in Jatavia, every piece of big-sister advice, and every memory we made together — I’m carrying all of it with me. I came in not knowing what to expect and I’m leaving with sisters for life.
We will forever be the baddest b’s in the block.
To my Captains & Coach: Thank you for believing in me when I doubted myself. You pushed me to my best and inspired me on and off the field. I am truly grateful for everything you poured into me.
