The US midterm elections have brought a major victory for the Democratic Party, dealing a big blow to President Donald Trump and his Republican Party. Democrats have won control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, after making major gains in several states. The results are being seen as a strong sign of voter anger over Trump’s policies and leadership. The results also led to celebrations among US voters and political supporters living in Australia. More than 100 people gathered at a pub in Sydney to watch the election results. The mood quickly turned from tension to celebration as news of the Democratic victories came in. The Democratic victory is a major setback for Trump, as the party can now block some of his plans, question his administration and challenge his decisions in Congress. The results could also affect Trump’s ability to push his policies during the remaining two years of his presidency. #news #worldnews #trending #worldinlast24hr

5 things I believe we should do more often: 1️⃣ BE A BEGINNER AGAIN! Try a dance class. Learn a language. Pick up something you’re terrible at! You don’t have to be good at everything to enjoy it. Give yourself permission to learn. 2️⃣ PUT YOURSELF IN YOUR CALENDAR! We make time for appointments, work and everyone else’s needs. Schedule something just for YOU this week. A walk, a quiet breakfast, an afternoon with no obligations. Your time matters too. 3️⃣ STOP SAVING THINGS FOR “ONE DAY”! Wear the beautiful outfit. Use the special perfume. Book dinner with your friends. An ordinary Tuesday is a perfectly good occasion. 4️⃣ NOTICE WHO MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOURSELF! Who can you laugh with? Who listens? Who gets excited about your ideas? Make more time for those people — and be that person for them, too. 5️⃣ CHANGE ONE “I CAN’T” INTO “I’LL TRY”! “I can’t wear that.” “I’m too old to start.” Sometimes we’ve repeated a rule for so long that we forget to question it. Start with one small thing you’ve been talking yourself out of. I don’t know exactly what my next chapter will look like. But I want to have a say in how it’s written. 💕 💬 What’s something you’d still love to try? Tell me below! ✅ SAVE this for the next time you catch yourself saying “I’m too old.” 🔁 SHARE it with a woman you’d love to try something new with. 👉 FOLLOW ME for fashion, confidence and a little encouragement to go for it.
