Alanna Wharf Sleepless Stamper

It’s time for a Use Your Stash Challenge! And it’s definitely time I get back to some stamping! It has been far too long!

I’m excited to be back with a post in collaboration with the Use Your Stash team. This month, we are featuring retired pastels! I had a special request for a birthday card for a dancer so I combined the two challenges to come up with this card!

I created a water color background with Soft Sky, Pale Papaya and Blushing Bride and then paired that with the Beautiful Bokeh DSP. I think it turned out to be a nice pair. The background piece was cut with the Radiating Stitches dies. I sure miss those! I also used the long retired Beautiful You stamp set and coloured the image all black to create a silhouette of a dancer to give her contrast against the watercolour sky background. I added a little bit of sparkle and splatter with the inks I used for the background and Wink of Stella. I hope the recipient loves it!
