Progress pic. 🌿🐝🌼 So far everything is going exactly as i imagined thanks to the stencils from @mandaladoc. Although again I couldn’t stay within the lines.😌 I want to create a botanical mandala. I think that turned out well but it's not finished yet. I love the color combination and the texture. #mandala #botanicalmandala #floralmandala #greenart #botanicaldesign

BACKFIRE.

There’s something hilarious about companies bragging about how much money AI is going to save them, only to end up losing money because they got a little too confident.

And they never make these decisions quietly. It’s always some big announcement about innovation, efficiency, and moving into the future. Meanwhile, the people who’ve been keeping the place running for years are being shown the door.

Then a few months go by, things start falling apart, customers get frustrated, and suddenly those employees who weren’t needed anymore don’t seem so replaceable.

The crazy part is that AI itself isn’t even the problem. It’s the companies thinking they can get rid of half their workforce, let a computer handle everything, and somehow make more money without anything going wrong.

Technology is supposed to make things easier, but some of these companies got so caught up in cutting costs that they forgot people actually know how to do their jobs.

And there’s something satisfying about watching a company brag about replacing people, only to find out those people were a lot more valuable than they thought.

Imagine having to explain to your investors that the money-saving plan is now the reason you’re losing money.

That’s one meeting nobody’s volunteering to lead.

Decline was a choice.

President Donald J. Trump made D.C. beautiful again, restoring greatness in our nation's capital and a country we are proud to call home. 🇺🇸

Your property tax bill just went on a diet and the Virginia Key marina deal got sunk. What do you guys think of this? #ONLYinDADE

Florida voters passed Amendment 3 with 62% of the vote. If you own your home and live in it, you get a much bigger break on city and county taxes starting next year. Cities are already warning about the hole that leaves in their budgets.

Over in Miami, about 65% of voters said no to leasing 27 acres of Virginia Key for up to 75 years at 2016 prices. They also signed off on a $450 million bond for police and fire, kept the school tax with 82%, and opened the door to a raise for county commissioners.

So taxes went down, the city’s borrowing went up, and commissioners might finally get paid. Just a normal Tuesday.

Swipe for everything that passed and failed 👉
