after about 25+ man hours and 10+ hours of film to go through I’m starting to feel decent about the E36’s paint. There’s still a few spots that just aren’t “fixable” to my standards without a respray but for the time being I think I’ll be able to live with it in this shape for at least the next couple years. There are a number of scratches, particularly on the roof, where I chose to leave them vs. scraping off another layer of already thin-ish clear. New badges, both “BMW” emblem and the M3 emblems, were the biggest unexpected upgrades. Still to do on the exterior: Adam’s graphene ceramic coating, Dr colorchip touch up paint, cerakote ceramic plastic trim restore and cut / polish front bumper. I think I’m going to need another weekend to drop the YouTube video so I can properly edit and voiceover. It should be 1+ hour when all wrapped up. #bmw #m3 #e36 #detailing
