if you asked me in 8th grade "are you going to keep cheering in hs?" i would've just shrugged my shoulders and said i don't know. fast forward 11 years and im finishing my last year at NCA college nationals. i've done my time and im ready but very sad to put up my shoes.

cheerleading has been my life for 11 years. no one understood why. why did you love it so much? why do you keep hurting yourself just to do a dumb 2 minute and 30 second routine? it's because i was determined to be the best cheerleader and reach my fullest potential. it's because i had young athletes and kids who looked up to me as someone who was so cool and had the same dreams as i did when i was their age. it taught me when life knocks you down to get up no matter the circumstance.
last year was supposed to be my last year of cheerleading. but like i said you always get up when you're knocked down. i ended up getting a concussion 2 weeks before NCA so i couldn't end it like that. i'm happy i made that decision to come back and make it my real last one. my circle has been completed and it's time to shift my focus on to big and better things.

to every program ive done cheer for. thank you for my lifelong connections and showing me how really diverse cheerleading can be but at the end of the day we all want the same thing.
to my coaches past and present, thank you for believing in me and always pushing me to be better than yesterday.
to my mom and dad, thank you for always being in my corner. through all types of adversity they never left my side. bullying, injuries, mental battles with the sport. they always told me to keep going. and i love you guys.
lastly, to milwaukee cheerleading. thank you for being my home the past 3 years. all the hours of driving back and forth from IL really was worth it. i have learned so much about myself as a cheerleader and a person through this program and i thank you for it.

so with that being said, it's not good bye to cheerleading it's a see you later. tyty signing off ✌🏻

It’s been a pleasure to watch you the last three years . If you attack life with the same intensity as you did cheer you will be successful in whatever you choose to do !
