@lalyn.nyc is a new restaurant from the team behind @maliigramercy and @wib.nyc, two of my top favorite thai restaurants in NYC. It’s near Penn Station with a more upscale vibe✨

Our server Blue was the sweetest and even gave us NYC and Bangkok illustrated postcards as souvenirs🥹

I’m already eyeing their 2-course lunch special ($19-$27) and HH deals with drinks starting at $7 since it’s so close to my office 👀

🥩 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙚 $45 🌟🌟
Seriously the best thai steak fried rice I’ve had. The wagyu was perfectly medium rare and juicy. I’m a fan of anything basil and I loved how fragrant it was with the garlic fried rice.

🍛 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙮 $34 🌟
The curry is very spicy and the spice level is not adjustable‼️The sweetness from the pineapple and grapes helped ease the heat, and the curry was so creamy and satisfying when paired with rice.

🦐 𝙇𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙞 $30
The presentation was gorgeous with the lacy egg netting but it looked better than it tasted. I wished there was some seafood in the noodles instead of just tofu and egg.

🦀 𝘾𝙧𝙖𝙗 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙨 $17 🌟
The croquette was huge irl, stuffed with lump crab meat and shrimp meat. The creamy shrimp roe mayo was lowkey addicting🤤

🦋 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙖𝙜𝙤 𝘽𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 $14
The glutinous rice wrapper was too chewy for my liking, and the shallot-peanut filling didn’t stand out to me. The cho muang at their sister restaurants is actually better imo.

🌷 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙔𝙖𝙢 $16 🌟
The plating was giving sailor moon vibe🌙 SO PRETTY and the cake was very rich in purple yam flavor. Not too sweet💜
