@o__mag__ is a transdisciplinary, multilingual digital platform for deconstructed realities.

A space where artists, researchers, philosophers, scientists, and practitioners from diverse fields come together to move beyond dominant imaginaries.

Once a year, we invite a leading voice in radical research to offer a provocation—whether a text, craft, or action rooted in their practice.

From there, contributors are invited to respond through their own situated knowledge, forming a kaleidoscopic, transcultural connective experiment. Each provocation remains accessible for one year. All media and languages are welcome.

We understand knowledge as embodied, partial, and always relational, and we welcome vulnerability through diverse forms of ecological thinking.

We are interested in how we move, feel, face conflict, listen, and make sense of this reality—how we reveal ourselves to the other, and how we might collectively shape other ways of being.

::

ISSUE_0 opens with “Meaning-Less: A Flicker of Mercy,” a text by philosopher Timothy Morton, drawing from their latest book Hell: In Search of a Christian Ecology (2024).

“Hell is a place where everything means something. Hell is saturated with meaning.” A sense of the sacred nests within ambiguity, blossoming through a tender encounter with alterity. Can you feel it?

We invite you to respond to Morton’s provocation through your own practice. We are not interested in disembodied opinions, but in bodily truths—forms of knowledge that arise from lived, situated experience.

Contributions may take any form, including (but not limited to): critical texts, stories, interviews, fragments of past works, soundtracks, photographs, video, translations, poems, DJ sets, dreams.

Each written contribution will be available in at least one additional language.

We hope you’ll join us.

With love,
