Boots said mine was nothing to worry about and I got a 2nd opinion and now dermatologist wants to see me about it next week … always get a 2nd opinion

That’s fab. I had a basal cell cancer removed on my bk. I’ve one on my arm I’m slightly concerned about. Ty for sharing as I’d no idea about this service 👏

Thank you @oliviamcveigh_ ❤️ Just to confirm the pricing for this service - the 1st mole that gets scanned costs £40. Each additional mole after that is an extra £20/mole. Once our team scan a mole, the images they capture and all additional information is sent to a Consultant Dermatologist who then reviews this.

I was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2015 just a spot behind my ear and it was frightening. Early detection and definitely getting anything you feel that has changed in shape or colour don’t hesitate to get it checked out.

That’s awesome chum didn’t know they done this either as when you go to gp they only check one at the time, will defo get an appointment to check some of the rest of mine checked as I had basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer removed about 6 weeks ago on my forehead so defo want to check up on another one checked and am going online now to book an appointment:-) hope ur ok 👌 ps I sent you a wee pm a couple of weeks ago about hairloss, it’s Ellen here Shannon s auntie xx

So glad you are getting checked !! I'm 50 years old and already had early cancerous spots removed.
