SISU — THE POWER WITHIN. Born in the cold. Driven by fire.❄️🔥🇫🇮 Introducing Finland’s National Costume for Miss Universe @missuniverse 2026, worn by Miss Universe Finland @veeragronlund and designed by @aviadarikherman A sculpted silver corset, a shimmering skirt and delicate embroidered leaves echo the ice, frost and beauty of the Finnish North. A sweeping flame cape reveals the fire within — the courage and determination that carry us forward. Ice represents where we come from.💎 Fire represents what carries us forward.🔥 At its heart is SISU: the quiet determination to keep going, even when you feel you have reached your limits. This costume is also a tribute to the women of Finland. The pioneers who opened doors, the generations who built our country and the women who continue to lift others as they rise. When Veera steps onto the Miss Universe stage, she will carry their spirit with her. 🇫🇮 This is SISU. This is the POWER WITHIN Photography: @lazekki Location: @billnasruukki Styling: @aleksandrakantola Production: Miss Suomi / Finnartist Oy National Director: @sunnevasjogren #nationalcostume #missuniverse #finland #misssuomi #missuniversefinland Fire in her eyes. SISU in her soul. 🔥❄️ Every detail tells a story. From frost-like embroidery to jewelled flames, Aviad Arik Herman’s design brings ice and fire together — with flame-shaped glasses as the finishing touch. Merci, @tournoi_international_combs , for an unforgettable first international experience! 🇫🇷🫶🏼 This meet was so different from anything I’ve ever experienced, and I’m leaving with so many lessons and memories. Confiance, persévérance et force. Confidence, perseverance, and strength — three things this experience taught me in ways I’ll never forget ✨ Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined winning the all-around title among so many incredible gymnasts from around the world. I am truly honored, and getting to do it while representing @usagym made it even more special. 🇺🇸 Special thank you to @bettyokino, Emily, and the entire USAG staff for all the support, guidance, and fun throughout this week. Team USA is something truly special, and I am so honored to be a part of it! ❤️🤍💙 To my coaches, @meliaoqv and @daniellea528, thank you for always standing by my side, believing in me, and guiding me through this journey. I’m so happy we got to experience this together 💞 This is an experience I will carry with me forever 🇫🇷🥖✨ Merci, Combs-la-Ville! What a blast! GO TEAM USA! 🇺🇸
