Wife Week 2026! Took a week off to hang and shred with @hey.mariss and friends! She has been crushing it this year on her board and in the snowpits too! Proud husband! #westonbackcountry

I’d been wanting to do another one of these but with white denim, and when the logo removal on this sweatshirt went sideways, it was the perfect excuse. I don’t have a class for this but I do have a tutorial on my YouTube about upcycling a sweatshirt and this denim weaving technique is one part I walk through. I did an experiment on this one though, where rather than using my usual zigzag to sew down the strips, I did a 2-thread coverstitch on my @berninausa L890 Overlock/coverstitch machine and it worked super well. Except when I decided to individually tie off every thread on the inside 😅. This is one of my favorite ways to cover up a logo or stain or revive a boring old sweatshirt. And yes, it holds up in the wash if you don’t my way.
Job opportunities shouldn’t depend on your zip code. My office hosted a job fair in South LA at the LA Black Worker Center to bring resources directly to nearly 100 Angelenos in the community.
core memory for them🥹 A dad surprised his daughter by picking her up from school dressed as Batman, arriving in a sports car and leaving her classmates in awe. Her mum also joins in on the Halloween fun as Catwoman, completing the couple’s coordinated superhero looks. via: @jana_puninskaya
