Standing as a Kitsilano landmark since 1912,
2143 Yew Street has been meticulously restored to honor its original silhouette while entering a new era as Nomad Coffee.
We’ve preserved the building’s old soul and historic construction, reinforcing its 114-year-old bones to ensure the neighborhood’s iconic skyline remains unchanged.
By replacing old barriers with a sweeping garage window, we’ve transformed "convenience" into "connection," seamlessly blending the sidewalk with our warm, living-room interior.
Unlike the cramped layouts of the past, this reimagined space prioritizes radical accessibility, offering generous room where wheelchairs and strollers can move with dignity and ease.
From its curated retail to its inclusive heart, this is a restoration of both a building and a community ritual - same iconic shape, but with a new sense of belonging.
Open daily, 8am–6pm.
