*Imam Al-Bukhari* Alhamdulillah, di antara nikmat terindah yang Allah anugerahkan ialah dapat mengunjungi Samarkand, menelusuri jejak kehidupan intelektual Imam Al-Bukhari. Pada Kamis 29 Oktober lalu, sehari sebelum pengukuhan Profesor Kehormatan di TSUE, kami mendapat kesempatan untuk berziarah sekaligus melakukan riset ilmiah di Komplek pemakaman Imam Al-Bukhari, di Samarkand. Komplek seluas 6,2 H itu berisi Masjid Indah berarsitektur Taj Mahal, area makam utama, museum riset, gerbang memorial, pusat studi Imam Al-Bukhari, serta beragam fasilitas penginapan yang memanjakan wisatawan. Kami mendapat kehormatan sebagai ilmuwan untuk berziarah langsung di area utama Makam, serta melakukan riset di area museum terbatas untuk memberi catatan dan tambahan literasi. Dari mulai manuskrip hingga transformasi teknologi AI, algoritma museum ini berupaya menghidupkan perjalanan intelektual Imam Al-Bukhari yang dapat diamati, sekaligus diteladani. Insya Allah, dalam kunjungan berikutnya kami akan diundang sebagai Fellow Professor untuk berbagi wawasan tentang perjalanan intelektual Imam Al-Bukhari, serta pemahaman atas kitab Shahih beliau, Radiallahu Ta’ala ‘Anhu.
