Today, I pause. Not just to count the years, but to honor the woman I’ve become and the journey I’ve walked.
Another chapter begins, and as I look back, I see a girl who chose strength even when it was hard, who gave love even when her heart ache.
I see the Beauty Queen who learned that crowns fade, but impact never does.
I am proud of myself.
I’ve grown into a woman who leads with love, who finds purpose in service, and who chooses grace even when the world is unkind.
Yes, I have stumbled, but God never left me. His hand has been on my life in every chapter, guiding, correcting, and loving me through it all. I see that now more clearly than ever, and I know He’s not done with me yet.
So today, I don’t just wish myself a happy birthday. I speak life into my next season.
May I continue to be a vessel of light
May I lead with courage
May my health never fail me
Nations will come to my light,
and kings to the brightness of my dawn.
May I never shrink to make others comfortable.
May I always remember that I am enough, just as I am.
I celebrate. Not just the life I’ve lived but the life ahead of me. The dreams I’m still dreaming. The lives I’ve yet to impact. The voices I’ll help amplify. The homes I’ll build, the peace I’ll fight for, the legacy I’ll leave.
This year, I chose boldness. I choose rest when I need it, and fire when it’s time to move. I choose to love myself more deeply, to forgive myself more quickly, and to celebrate my growth unapologetically.
I was born for such a time as this.
I am not behind. I am not late.
I am aligned. I am becoming. I am ready .
