Stop letting “trendy” Mahjong advice ruin your game.

👉Comment YES to get the full strategic breakdown of these 5 strategies sent straight to your DMs.

If Mahjong strategy feels confusing to you right now, it’s probably because you’re seeing a bunch of rigid absolutes that contradict each other.

Don’t pass flowers....but sometimes pass them. Call for tiles....but sometimes you shouldn’t.

So what are players supposed to actually be doing?

The biggest mistake I see Mahjong instructors and players make is assuming there’s a single “right” way to play every hand. But here’s the truth: Mahjong is not a game of absolutes. It’s a game of flexibility and critical thinking. The best players aren’t the ones who memorized a strict formula; they’re the ones who know how to stay fluid.

I broke down 5 unconventional ways to think about a handful of Mahjong strategies to completely shift your mid-game logic and train your brain to look at the same strategy from entirely different angles.

“The Price of Never Falling”
Oil on paper
2026
Leonardo Bassetti

This painting it’s for everyone who became strong
life never gave them another choice. For those who kept standing through loss, responsibility, and disappointment… until survival itself began taking pieces of who they used to be.

Sometimes strength isn’t a gift.

Sometimes it’s what remains after life has taken every softer part of you.

Traditional oil painting on A3 paper.

What did surviving cost you?

HALLOWEEN WEEK🪞👻

I know I say it every week, but this week really was filled with magic🪩

Embracing the art of the Argentine Tango was such a special experience. We both had the most incredible time exploring the characters, creating the story and completely immersing ourselves in this week’s theme.

A huge thank you to @leandropalou1 @maria_tsiatsiani_official for sharing your passion, kindness and hearts with us throughout the week. Your guidance and support made this such a memorable experience, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with you both✨

Thank you to everyone for the overwhelming love and all the beautiful messages we’ve received following our dance. It means more than you know!

And Cach, thank you for being the most wonderful dance partner. Thank you for trusting me, embracing every challenge and throwing yourself into every experience with me. I feel so lucky to share this journey and create these special moments together💌
