The best wedding planning is invisible.
The family never knows about the call that fixed the lighting right before the qawali. They don’t know about the vendor who needed extra equipment last minute, the hundred small decisions made quietly so the celebration could stay exactly that - a celebration that they could fully immerse themselves in, without the stress of logistics.
That’s what I was doing for three days with
@theronakcompany at one of the most beautiful and well organized weddings I’ve been a part of. The mayoun, qawali & shendi - each one its own world to hold together behind the scenes.
Event decor was by the very talented
@zandsevents . Shoutout to
@saadyratta - whose energy lifts everyone around him. In the rare moments we had a window to step away, we’d naturally find ourselves jamming to the music behind the stage - no plan, no cue.
That kind of energy at working a wedding is everything.
Here’s to a family that made every chaotic, joyful moment feel worth it.
Hugee thank you to
@jehanaraamin for trusting me to help❤️
