It has been 8 long years without my Sonshine. 8 years of absolute pain and heartbreak. I don’t miss him less, I miss him more. He was such a great kid! Never a problem. Kind to everyone, so easy going and so well liked by everyone. He was strong and healthy and had such common sense and confidence. It still doesn’t make sense. Lord knows I’ve asked “WHY HIM” more times than I can count, but I also know the “why not him” as nothing in life is guaranteed. The only thing I can figure, the only thing that gives me peace, is his soul was too good for the evil of this world and that’s why he had to go, but what a difference he could’ve made.
