I was in a Nature Journaling workshop at Kanawha State Forest last weekend. I sat by this stream but unsure how to draw water in motion. I later realized I had already done this in my sketch notebook using geometry to explore tension between circles and diagonal lines. The realization happened once I used watercolors on this sketch.
