Hey all! I just got back some new salon photos by @charlotteivoryphoto and can’t wait to post the rest! 🤩

For anyone new here- I’m Steph, or Stevie.
I’ve been doing hair for over 11 years and opened Saturn Salon in 2023. Becoming a salon owner surrounded by friends and artists I respect is an accomplishment I never planned for or expected, but it’s been one of the greatest gifts in my life and I wouldn’t trade this role for anything. ✨

When I am at @saturnsalonstl, you’ll find me razor cutting, watering dozens of plants, loving on curly hair, and yapping facts about whatever album is on the salon radio.

Outside of the salon, you’ll find me…
•Worshiping our 3 cats Ducky, Dana, and Los.
•Playing/watching/reading horror games, movies, and books. 🧛🏻
•Organizing locally (and vocally 🙂‍↕️) in St. Louis with my community.
•Hunting for vinyl with my partner, going to live shows, and sloppily playing songs on my sparkly bass guitar.

As a former terminally online tumblr kid, I burnt myself out early on content creation & using social media as a “marketing tool” after making it a big part of my job at my first commission salons. You won’t find me posting much hair related content, but I love to check in here to keep up with my salon clients and share what’s new in the salon.

💫 We added a community client library for clients to donate, borrow, or to have materials to read during their appointments, so if you have resources you’d like to share, bring your favorite book or zine to add to the collection.

💫 In February, I became a Viceroy for @cultandking and, if asked, I will talk your ear off about why I love using their products both at home and in the salon.

💫I’ll be participating in the National Strike on May 1st and would love to invite other salon owners and indie hairdressers to meet me to march, canvass, do an art build, whatever feels right for you.
