and a lot of times you'll be so locked into a vision that you will completely overlook what's actually happening around you. the practice of finding balance between attachment and non-attachment is such a beautiful dance and I'm relieved in knowing that "this" is a practice. "god" or "the universe" or whatever you would want to call it, won't allow things to flourish where they aren't meant to and I feel for the human experience, that can be confusing and even more, frustrating. I've kept my faith in that there is a much bigger plan for me. a lot of times or what I will notice once I've moved past a season or a separation is that, it was only meant to be a lesson or this was a form of practice because the "table" being prepared for me is going to require me to show up authentically and without the approval of others and this is an obstacle for a lot of us but easily overlooked and as a gay black american, this is a BIG DEAL for me and in honor of all of the years I've had to be something for others while abandoning myself. it's actually quite revolutionary. #TRUSTYOURPROCESS
