Driving south from Marrakech, with a heart full of memories and a head full of inspiration. Thinking back to the wonderful days of my tinystories Creative Retreat last week, surrounded by fourteen beautiful women. What a joy it was to guide them on their creative journeys. To see them open up, experiment with materials, learn to look differently, let go of expectations and simply enjoy creating freely. To discover, share and connect. We had such beautiful days together, travelling from Marrakech into the Atlas Mountains. So many lovely moments and memories to take home. And now, a new journey begins. Travelling south from Marrakech, discovering treasures along the way, and visiting local artisans. I find so much inspiration for my paintings in travelling and exploring traditional crafts. Pottery, weaving, woodwork, textile printing, embroidery… I could spend hours watching the hands of makers at work, learning about their skills and traditions. Filling my head with new ideas, and sparks of inspiration for new projects and many new paintings. xTiny Would you like to join my next tinystories Creative & Inspirational Retreat? Send me a DM with your name and email address, and I’ll keep you updated. #morocco #creativeretreat #tellingtinystories

Nice Uber @willmac.7 Finally home. 45 days stay c/o ward C9 Addenbrookes. The journey to recovery is vicious and feels like walking through set concrete. Yes it feels impossible. But Wills home. The first 100 days post transplant are known as the acute recovery phase. Will remains in isolation at home (Think COVID procedures) until the 100th day when the biologically matured cells start to work their magic. !January 9th! September 15th 2025 - October 30th 2026. Will has endured 410 days of absolute terror, pain beyond comprehension, during the stem cell transplant the rapid response team were called twice. Imagine being scared for your life and every person apart from immediate family are strangers every “ground hog” day. Will is breathless after walking 20 steps. (Low red blood cells) Feels nauseous constantly. Pain in every bit of his body, Recovery from Chemo is slow as his new cells are yet to mature. Recovering from bed sores. Muscle spasms, cramp. Weaning off heavy meds. Every hour is a teeny tiny step towards a future. This is Will Mac. !The strongest Man! #strongestman #teamwill37 #stemcelltransplant #anthonynolan #imri @cambridge_alumni
A hiring manager once told Cory Lee that a job involving travel wasn't the right fit for him. Today, the 36-year-old, who has spinal muscular atrophy type 2 and uses a wheelchair, has traveled to 56 countries and all seven continents. Cory turned the frustrating search for accessible travel information into a blog that has become his career, connecting with other travelers who face similar obstacles.
